We are typically hesitant to try new restaurants. We decided to venture out last Saturday afternoon and try a different Mexican Restaurant. What a poor choice. Does anyone from Adam's family remember Wild Burro (in Provo)? Well, if you like Mexican food from the frozen section in your grocery store, we can recommend a place for you. At least Adele liked the tortillas.

Crawfish Boil

Our host, Nick, is in the background with the red shirt. He has a big yard with kid friendly accessories. It was Adele's first time swinging and going down the slide. I made the mistake of letting her go down the slide without any help (Adam was playing catcher), and she bumped her head.

She looked really cute driving this "boat" (as Adam called it). She's wanting to do it all by herself.

Whenever we have company we always go to Goode & Company BBQ. Tom was quite impressed with the turkey sandwich and the BBQ ribs. Adele was impressed with the buffalo.

This jockey was nice enough to stop and let Adele get really close. It was her first experience with a horse, or as Adam called it, "the big doggie."

Lil' Cowgirl

Adam loved this outfit on his Lil' Cowgirl. The boots didn't stay on long, but they sure looked cute.

We stopped by the petting zoo again. Adele kept reaching for the horns on this goat. Luckily, he didn't mind.

Rodeo with Grandma and Grandpa

Okay ... I went a little picture crazy at the Rodeo. We went to the petting zoo, ate good food (my parents had their first turkey leg ... a Rodeo favorite), and enjoyed a Martina McBride concert. What fun!

I don't remember what night this was. We we were out to dinner with my parents. Adele was interested in the pattern on my Mom's sweater, and was being verbal about it. Her little noises are the cutest sounds ever.

Visiting with Family

My parents came to visit for the weekend of March 7-9th. Adele was a little shy at first, but then she warmed right up. It was so nice to spend time with them. Adele especially liked snuggling with my Dad.
