This picture was taken a few weeks ago. It was early on a Saturday morning and Adele was in snuggle mode. What a cutie!

Another birthday party. What cute kids!

Adele likes looking out the window and holding the curtains. She especially likes it when neighbors are walking their dogs, or other kids are outside playing. It's exciting stuff!

Swimming with Magaret & Andrew

We tried to get Adele to wear a life vest. I wanted her to wear it to give me a break from holding her, and for her to start kicking and splashing more independently. It didn't go well. The vest we have is too small, and it was bothering her due to not enough neck room. Once we took it off she had a great time.

Little Jay's Birthday Party

After dipping with Daddy we had a birthday party to go to. Adam enjoyed the jumping thing (whatever those are called) and Adele enjoyed the chocolate cake. Mmmm. Afterwards she practiced walking. Yes ... she is walking on the asphalt in her white socks. I know ... I know. But what do you think Shout is for?

Adam had just returned from running at the park. Adele was really excited to see him. They do this thing together that we've dubbed, "dipping." So ... here is some dipping footage.

Adele hasn't quite learned that when your turn something over what's inside will come out. She was quite concerned when her Cheerios fell out on the couch. She looked at me like, "What happened?"

We are typically hesitant to try new restaurants. We decided to venture out last Saturday afternoon and try a different Mexican Restaurant. What a poor choice. Does anyone from Adam's family remember Wild Burro (in Provo)? Well, if you like Mexican food from the frozen section in your grocery store, we can recommend a place for you. At least Adele liked the tortillas.

Crawfish Boil

Our host, Nick, is in the background with the red shirt. He has a big yard with kid friendly accessories. It was Adele's first time swinging and going down the slide. I made the mistake of letting her go down the slide without any help (Adam was playing catcher), and she bumped her head.

She looked really cute driving this "boat" (as Adam called it). She's wanting to do it all by herself.

Whenever we have company we always go to Goode & Company BBQ. Tom was quite impressed with the turkey sandwich and the BBQ ribs. Adele was impressed with the buffalo.

This jockey was nice enough to stop and let Adele get really close. It was her first experience with a horse, or as Adam called it, "the big doggie."

Lil' Cowgirl

Adam loved this outfit on his Lil' Cowgirl. The boots didn't stay on long, but they sure looked cute.

We stopped by the petting zoo again. Adele kept reaching for the horns on this goat. Luckily, he didn't mind.
