More Park Pictures

This was Adele's attempt at eating a chocolate chip cookie. We think she enjoyed it.

A friendly park patron offered to take our picture.

Adele seemed to like the texture of this rose. We tried to have her smell it, but that didn't go too well.

Sunday at the Park

Last Sunday we went to a park close to our house. The weather was perfect. On the way home there was a light breeze. I had taken off my sweater and was holding it near Adele's face. The ribbon's started touching her face and she started giggling. It was crowded that day, so we were walking uphill to our parking spot. Her giggle was so cute that I asked Adam to start filming. How can you not giggle yourself when you hear that?

Dinner

Adele was so hungry. This was her second bowl of oatmeal and applesauce. Man ... she can eat.

January 13, 3008

These pictures were taken January 13, 2008. This seersucker suit was a proud purchase at a baby resale shop. I had glorious visions of what it would it would look like on Adele. To my dismay, she only wore it for this photo. It was so tight on her that when she went to bend her arms you could see the fat creasing inside the material. I thought her arms and legs were going to break open the seams. Whoa!

Play Time Again

Here's another video of Adele in her entertainer station. This time she's finding her tongue. This is one of my favorite outfits. It's a floral shirt with embroidered denim overalls ... so cute.

Adam likes it when Adele talks and makes little noises. Her nickname then changes from "Tugboat" to "Wookie."

It's Bath Time Again

Lately Adele has been grabbing for the spray nozzle. She loves to get her hands and mouth on it.

We got off schedule on this particular night. I was in the middle of making dinner when Adele became really hungry. Adam has dubbed her "Crazy Baby" when she acts like that. You can hear him in the background making a comment about her craziness. Notice my stuff strewn across the counter in the background. I had to put spaghetti on hold. It was a quick spit bath. I find it amusing how quickly her craziness turns to happiness whenever there's water around. That's our little tugboat.

This is my favorite video of the nozzle series. Adam is by far the bath master. This is typically how bath time goes.

Bath Time

Adele loves bath time. She's getting to the point where she knows it's coming. As soon as we start taking her clothes off she starts waiving her hands around with excitement. She could be falling asleep while eating, then she gets naked, and she perks right up. She likes the rinse cycle with the spray nozzle.

Blueberry Pancakes

Here are some pictures of Adele attempting to eat blueberry pancakes. It didn't go too well. She got too excited about it, and ended up choking. We'll probably wait for a couple of weeks to allow finger foods. She looked cute trying though ...

Play Time with Daddy

Here's some footage of Adele and Adam playing.

Adele Update

Adele will be 7 months on February 25, 2008. Lately she's been enjoying a bouncy entertainer station. She gets excited when she turns the pages to her book. Adam has set up the DVD player close by so she can watch Baby Einstein and play in her station. Fun times!
